creating fabulous art + design for the artsy-fartsy set

Katie hails from the DC metro area –– VA side. She has a background in both art history and illustration, skills that are unwittingly not being put to very good use these days. Currently, Katie is involved in the Internet world, but is still hoping to be crafty for a living. She used to spend her nights eating Vinnie’s pizza and painting ’til dawn, but has since traded them in for a wireless mouse and a Metro card. She loves: fonts; color; her cat; mid-20th century design; jasmine tea; broadband wireless; Robert Rauschenberg; Henri de Toulouse–Lautrec; fancy dark chocolates; radiator heat; and abundant sunshine.
