hire me

So.

I'm looking for my next career move, and have recently participated in several wonderful interviews. Ideally, I'm looking for another job in DC or maybe even Richmond. Since a number of big corporations are moving down to central VA, I'd also be more than happy to consider working close to home: I do live in Fredericksburg, you know.

Are you looking for your next superific graphic designer, illustrator, art director? Well, check out my resume at http://www.creativehotlist.com/k-yancey3. I'm even available for off-site freelancing.

Give me a ring: I'm your next creative genius.

another drawing tablet

My dilemma begins. Which Wacom tablet should I purchase - graphire or intuous?

I wouldn't be in this predicament except for the fact that technology is always changing. See, I already have a beloved drawing tablet, but alas, it is an outdated scussi device. I'm currently researching usb/firewire/bluetooth adapters so that I may continue to use my tablet on my Mac, but I fear that I just might cross over to the great big bluetooth in the sky.

And now back to my original question - graphire or intuous? The intuous certainly offers more of the features that I'd like to have, but the graphire has bluetooth. Right now I'm inclined to go with the bluetooth. Maybe I'll wait a little longer to see if the intuous comes out with a nifty bluetooth version. Although waiting may not be the answer that I'm looking for. Drawing with that rock of a mouse is certainly doing me no favors. I'm certainly all in favor of ergonomic ease. Damn you, carpal tunnel!
