my work week, ending 6/3/05

At work this week, I spent my time correcting graphic problems in HTML. Why am I doing this? Because work recently upgraded its publishing software, which introduced new graphic issues. Interesting things are occurring such as black squares appearing in lieu of the information graphic, mirror images, and extra doses of white space.

My solutions? Increasing font sizes; recreating information graphics, and; importing existing graphics into PhotoShop and Illustrator, manipulating the image, and finally exporting in various formats. By providing a variety of formats, the editors are able to do testing to determine which format works best in the report.
